, Eastern philosophy or Asiatic philosophy includes the various philosophies of South and East Asia, including Chinese philosophy, Indian philosophy, Japanese philosophy, Korean philosophy,Tibetan Buddhism and Vietnamese philosophy.

Eastern philosophy is incredibly diverse, and includes a wide range of different philosophical traditions and schools, from the ancient philosophies of China and India, to the more modern schools of Japanese and Korean philosophy.

Some of the most influential Eastern philosophers include Confucius, Laozi, the Buddha, Nagarjuna, Zhuangzi, Chuang Tzu, Mozi, Mencius, Han Fei Tzu, Wang Yangming, and Nishida Kitaro.

Eastern philosophy has had a significant impact on Western philosophy, and on the world at large. Many of the most important Western philosophers, including Hegel, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, and Heidegger, were deeply influenced by Eastern thought..
